Waterpolo:
I think I've played Waterpolo since about 1995 I guess, when I started in college but for the last four years I've played waterpolo for the Trinity College Dublin team in the National League, in Division One and really love it!! In 1997 I was even interviewed through Irish for the TNaG channel program ‘Leargas’ on playing Waterpolo in Ireland. Here are some of the guys and girls that I've played polo and as you can see partied with over the last few years. From the left we have Maeve, John, Liz, Clare and Paul. ![]() Myself and Roisín. ![]() Eoghan, Oisín, myself and Donnacha. ![]() Tone and Dave and then we see Brianne up close and personal with Giorgio!!! ![]() ![]() Dani and Dom!! ggrrrrr ![]() Siobhan, Eoghan and a very flexible Liz!!! How can she do that with her legs!!heeehee ![]() Swimming and Waterpolo have got to be one of my main interests seeing as I started swimming on my own from the age of about three. Not that I can remember that clearly but I can't remember even Not being able to swim. I started competing from around the age of ten or eleven and travelled all over Europe competing which I absolutly loved!! I won a few swimming titles both Irish and European. Then in 1992 I was select to compete for the Irish team in the International Youth Games in Milan, Italy. I only won one medal as I was quite young at the time. However, in 1994 I was selected again and this time elected the Women’s Captain for the Irish Team when the Games were held in Madrid, Spain. I did a bit better bringing home 6 medals that year!! Then after I went to University the swimming died down a bit and I started playing waterpolo instead for my college team. ![]() |
