Country: Spain.

I can safely say that i've been to a fair few places in Spain before as many family holidays were taken there over the years to the mainland and the Islands!! I went to Malaga a few years ago now and stayed in Benalmadena where i had a very interesting holiday indeed!! Isn't that right Sarah!! I managed to get stuck in a two by two foot lift at three in the morning with a guy that i was desperately trying to get away from but as we were in the lift lightning managed to cut the electricity.

So with no windows in this lift it was pitch black!! As it was some mad hour of the morning we just had to wait for the guy at the desk to come and rescue us!! what a nightmare! But hey i can look back at it now and laugh!! Well Sarah does every time she talks about it so i may as well!!! heheee Hey Sarah, check out the picture of the marina where the guys had their boat!! Incidentally Meg Ryan and Antonio Banderas own one of those apartments!! There's another piece of useless information, but there you go...enough about Malaga.

Onto another M for Madrid, I stayed there for a week when I was Ladies Captain for the Irish team. Now this is going back a few years when I competed in the Internation Youth Games. I had competed two years before that in Italy but as I was a bit young I only won one silver medal. But this year I was older and faster and managed to bring home a gold, three silver and a two bronze medals!! Not bad for a week locked in a Police Training Centre!! yip they had us at gunpoint on our last night and even fired shots into the air when we tried to leave the complex! It was our last night and we wanted to Paaartyyyy!!! The Irish team had joined up with the Spanish and Italian teams and were ready to head back to the Karyoke bar we had found down the road the night before!!

But they were ready for us and insited that we go straight to our rooms and go to bed!! We tried Everything!! but on the sound of the gunshots we decided to do it their way and quietly head back to our rooms!! Girls in one block and boys in another and police patroling the grounds all night!! What a bummer!! Could it have been anything to do with the fact that the Irish team didn't come home the night before until about 4.30am!!! and just because none of us had our athletes passes and caused a huge arguement with the police on duty becuase they wouldnt let us back in as it was after 10.30pm!!! Well excuuuuse us for having some fun after 10.30!! anyway we got to bed about 6am so it was fine!!! Heehehee kinda..But they were wise to us on the last night damn them! What a great trip that was anyway, I met so many great people and great Athletes, some of which are still competing for Ireland today!!

Where else have we got.. oh yeah a numerous fmaily trip to Mallorca!! what a great place to go on holidays and have fun when you're a child!! You've got all the fun and games and discos that the hotels supply! The sun shining and great beaches!! I remember several holidays that i thoroughly enjoyed!!

A more recent trip to Palma I went for two weeks to Palma Nova and had the most fabulous time, the sun shone, the sea was beautiful and the diving there was great!! Myself and Sarah went to the Big Blue diving centre in Palmanova and dived with Jim and the guys!! dont you look lovely in teh middle Jim!! ;-) Anyway we had a great time there and had some great fun diving, drinking and dancing!!
